What are the instruments 5th grade may choose? |

Instrument Choices |

C Flute, Bb Soprano Clarinet, Bb Trumpet, Slide Trombone, and Bass Clef Baritone Horn or Bass Clef Euphonium.
We do not offer Bass Guitar, Violin, Guitar, Piano.
5th Grade Students do not start with Saxophone, we require them to play either a clarinet of flute prior to beginning the saxophone, or take private lessons prior to the start of band.
We do not allow 5th Grade students to begin on Percussion (Drums) prior to taking another instrument. After they have successfully learned the music, they may move to percussion after meeting the criteria of the directors for music literacy. |
