Executive Board 2009-2010 Mission and Goals

Mission Statement

The mission of the Tahoma Education Association is to promote the interests of staff, the interests of students, the profession of education, as well as community involvement and awareness of educational professions. 

Executive Board Goals and Objectives

Our main objective is to build a strong and viable organization to represent our membership. 

Our goals for the 2009-2010 school year are:

· To continue to hold compensation (salary, benefits, retirement) as our priority.

 

· To provide quality leadership to our members concerns and questions. 

 

· To increase our WEAPAC numbers to 60% of our membership 

 

· To maintain/increase minority involvement in association activities including rep council and WEA rep assembly. 

 

· To increase participation of association members in association activities including phone banking, bargaining meetings, and school board elections.
